Going to Rainbows End

I was so excited, it was the first Thursday of the school holidays and Aunty Erin had just called my sister Naomi and I to tell us she was taking us to Rainbows End on Friday.

Friday morning aunty picked us up. My sister and I were happy that our cousin Hayley was coming to. We drove to Pak n Save to get our food for lunch. Finally we were on our way to Rainbows end. We lined up to get our bands for the rides. I couldn’t wait to go on my favourite ride The Powersurge.

The first ride we went on was the rollercoaster. Lucky the lines weren’t long. We were all in the same car, I sat next to Hayley. As we went down the big drop I could hear Aunty Erin screaming. It made my stomach feel real funny. We finished our ride then went to the Invader. I was feeling really excited and couldn’t wait. When we were on the ride I started feeling sick like I was going to throw up. I wanted the ride to hurry up and finish so I could get off. Finally we headed over to the powersurge. My stomach felt like it had butterflies in it because I was nervous. The lady took us to our seats and then the ride started to go. It was really scary going around in circles, I was feeling dizzy. The ride was over. We went and had lunch, we were all really hungry but still wanted to go on the rides. Aunty made us eat. After lunch we went on heaps more rides. Aunty Erin said “ it’s time to go home now!!!” We packed up and left Rainbows End.

On the way home  I was so tired I couldn’t keep my eyes open and fell asleep. I had the best time at Rainbows End and I hope my Aunty takes us again during the next holidays.
