Google Cardboard

Google have just made a new thing which is called Google Cardboard. Pt england School was lucky because Google gave us 30 Google Cardboard. There gave this to us so we can test and see what the world look likes.

The way that Google Cardboard  works is that you have to have a smartphone. When you are ready you have to download the app and it is called goggle expeditions. You will have to have two smartphone one is for you to see where are and one is for to take where you want to go.

By using this make you learn a lot. Because the things that you want to learn about Google mostly to have it. The you want to see will cool. You can buy this at the night markets on Saturday.

Trade Fair.

WALT:add one main idea per paragraph

This term our topic was Trade and Enterprise. Our learning was to focus on creating and selling products in our business groups. We were split up into 6 business groups and some of them made food, stationery products and accessories.  

As part of our terms topic we had a trade fair. This is when you take orders and start designing our own ideas. We had to create a presentation with all of our ideas, so that people knew what we were selling.  

For the trade fair my friend Junior and I have created a business called custom labels. The product that we have designed is made online. We are selling custom labels for only 1 PT.

Me and my friend Junior is really excited about our market day coming up in week 8! We are hoping to make lots of PTs and lots of Pieces. If you are around at Pt England school then, please come and buy something from us!

Job Application

I have chosen to be a window Monitors because I always close the window at my house. In my house in the sitting room we have the windows open and in a few min later it’s already cold so I have to close and open the windows. In my classrooms there is lots of windows and if I see people getting hot or cold i can close or open it.

So I did 6 + 2 = 8 , 40 + 30 = 70 , 100 + 70 = 170, 8 + 170 = 178.
And the answer is 178.

My Work

(Judah) I like cleaning the classroom because I clean all the time at home. Cleaning is good for you. Cleaning keeps your house, school and the whole world clean. If you don't clean your house it will start to smell and it will get messy. At school our 3 classes  get 20p and 50p .To get 20p we have to sit up nicely and be quite. And to get 50p you have to clean up the classroom or do something that the teacher will be proud of.

Sun Smart

Junior and Richard also Judah) The sun is so hot. This means you will need a hat to cover your face and sunscreen on your skin to stop you from getting burnt. These are the two really important things that you will need if it's summer.

If you want to be sunsmart then you will need a hat. Hats are really good because it will protect your face from the burning sun. Especially one with a wide brim. A hat is really important because you might get skin cancer and skin cancer mostly happens on your faces and your neck then any parts of your body.

Another way to stay safe is to put on some sunscreen. The sun is dangerous so you will have to watch out.Sunscreen is really good to put on your skin because it protects your skin from getting burnt. The best one to use is SPF30+ because it gives you less sunburn.It is best to use it when it is summer.

lastly put on some sunglasses. Put on sunglasses to protect your eyes. Sunglasses are really usefull for your eyes because you might get blind. UV radiations can affect your eyesight.You will have to watch out for your eyes.

And don’t forget to slip, slop slap and wrap!!

Explaining My learning.

We had to create a game and my game is called Spy land. We had to create a side scrolling so we have something to do on a rainy day. So we made up our own game character. My character is a free runner. We can move the character by pressing the arrows to shoot is the space bar.

Sometimes my game you can lose and you can win but my game is just for fun.You can create a game but not with game characters that already exist.

Problem solving

Today our group the counters had to do problem solving about fractions. the question was 1/4 of 40  and the answer is 10.

ANZAC Writing and Reflection

Last friday was a very very special Assembly. Lot’s of teachers and seniors have been wearing poppies so we can show the remembrance of World War 1.  At the end of the Assembly we went to the remembrance field so we can bless the people who died in World War 1 and the people who wanted to save new zealand's land. Then there was a song about the ANZAC. ANZAC stands for Australian, New Zealand, Army, Corp.

When they go toilet they go and dig a hole and then they look for something to sit on.Then when they are finished they refill the hole and make a new one.Did you know that there is dogs that can help hold aummo, and letters to send.When world war 1 started it started in turkey and the area they were fighting in was called Suez Canal.

In 1914 august the 29th the first world war began. 17 million people died died for all of our country. The first person to die in new zealand is private william ham. His family must be so sad and had a moment of silence.

The first thing I did really well was creating clear good word's and putting it in my sentence. I am really proud with my writing because I'v put in lot's of vocabulary.What I had trouble was putting lot's of information in my story. My goal for writing is to make my paragraphs up to a high mark so that my report will by all right.
