The Rules

Last week we have been reading a story called The Rules. We had to read the book and found out the rules about the orchestra. There are four part of the orchestra 1 woodwind, 2 Strings 3. Brass and 4 percussion section.

Jack No Name.

This week we have been reading a novel called Jack No Name. We had to find out what this book is about and how this inspires us. So we had to write about the different stuff we found in this book.

The great marble challenge.

Last week we are reading a texted called the great marble challenge. We had to read threw the text and fill in this activity. I thought they would fail this challenge but they didn't.

Sniff Swing Swipe.

This week we have been learning about sniff swing and swipe. This is about animals being kept in zoos. Children around the community's have been taking part in making fun inventions for the Keas. We also created our own invention in our google drawings. Here is my inventions.

Water wise

WALT - I make sense of new information before, during and after reading by connecting it to myself, texts I know and my world.

This week in my literacy class we were learning about water wise. I learnt that water can clean out your inside waste. You can survive much longer with out food but not drinking water. 

The three kete

This week our literacy class learnt what the three ketes are. I learnt that the three ketes names are Mind, Body and soul. Did you know that the three kete were brought from the heavens by tanemahuta.

Ski Trip

Last week I have been doing a reading follow up about the ski trip. There is a Boy named Anthony he is trying fun raise money to go on that really cool ski trip.    

Explaining My learning.

We had to create a game and my game is called Spy land. We had to create a side scrolling so we have something to do on a rainy day. So we made up our own game character. My character is a free runner. We can move the character by pressing the arrows to shoot is the space bar.

Sometimes my game you can lose and you can win but my game is just for fun.You can create a game but not with game characters that already exist.

Joe gock

a few weeks ago we had to make a presentation about Joe Gock Our group had to share a two padlets to show what we have done. What I have learnt about Joe Gock was the he made watermelon with no seeds in it,

Our group L and P's have been reading about boy soldier's. It's about this teenager going to war at a young age. His name is Stan Stanfield he had to be 20 year old but he lied about his age. Here is our work we have done.

I have been creating a plan for my side scrolling game. We had to create our own character and background. My character Roman is a spy that has lots of guns. He has a super punch that can kill the bad guy in one hit.
