Anzac

Why is anzac day celebrated on the 25th of april.
Anzac day is the anniversary of the landing of troops from Australia and New Zealand on the Gallipolo peninsula in world war 1 on April 25 1915.

Why is Anzac day so important?
the 25th of April is one of New Zealand / Australia most important day because it marks campaign failed in the military objectives, The austailan and new Zealand actions during the campaign left us all a Anzac a powerful legacy. With the coming of the second would war Anzac day also served to commemorate the lives of new Zealanders and Australians who died at war.

Why do we have the poopy as a symbol of Anzac?
Red poppies made of light cloth or paper, They are traditionally worn on and around Anzac day as a mark of respect to those who have died while serving our country.  The red or Flanders poppy has been linked with battlefield deaths since the time of the Great War (1914–18). The plant was one of the first to grow and bloom in the mud and soil of Flanders

Hotcakes

Today in cooking class we made hotcakes her are the steps to make this.
Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ cups of self rising flour
  • ½ cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 egg

Step 1 mix all these ingredients together in a bowl. Mix well. Once well mixed Butter the pan and then fry two cakes at a time and wait until the pancakes are golden brown. Once the bottom bit is golden brown you flip wait again until that side is golden brown. Then sever the finishing product on a plate and make more if you have left overs.
